And you ran sim 6 to cycle the fans? Did you cancel the trouble code and reboot the machine?

well.....i cleaned the fans, a little oil on the bearings, and rotate a few times by hand, and cleaned everything around it......(a lot of dust)
by power on, i start the fans by hand to move, but nothing, they are not moving.

I measured no power (24V)...... is there somewere a fuse? I checked already the connector(s), that looks oke.

    any suggestions?

I removed both fans, and looked around (type the partcode on top of the fan, 2408NL-05W-B56) and found some friendly prices: $ 32 each:
    NMB-MAT 2408NL-05W-B56 Server - Square Fan 2408NL-05W-B56, T01

    or $ 25,14 each:
    Original Nmb 6020 2408nl-05w-b56 24v 0.09a Line Cooling Fan 2408nl-05w-b56 Online with 25.14/Piece on Linda111's Store | DHgate.com

now see if they are shipping parts to the Netherlands, and the shippingcosts.
    answer hopefully tomorrow.

    thanks guys for your help.

We pay less than half of that for hours so I'm it might be worth doing a little shopping around because if you consider how much time it takes to remove the parts how much time it takes to repair the fans and the fact that you'll be back in a couple weeks to do all of that over again that really will be a savings either to you or to the customer by just replacing them

Is this for real: ????? $ 112.00 each?

    Sharp NFANP0082FCP1
NFANP0082FCP1 Archives - Printer Parts Store

I'll try first to fix it with the hints given here.

First....removing the fans is also a little tricky.....

When you remove the round sticker there is a plastic retaining "C" ring on the motor shaft. with that removed you can slide the fan blades off, then lubricate the bearings. Mine were generating a cloud of iron oxide dust. A few drops of light oil and some manual spinning got that fan back up and running. And yes, both fans quit within 3 weeks of each other. =^..^=
Yes true, there is nothing inside those fans. I quick drop of silicone grease/oil on the brass bush an off they go again.

    Hint:
How to reduce the noise/vibration with cooling fans :
If you want to prevent CPU cooling fans or similar fans from vibrating and creating a noise, remove the metal based sticker/label from the center of the rotory blades. The label glue becomes soft and moves the label off center creating just enough vibration and noise to reduce the life of the fan. I have proved this to many associates over the years. Those assocates complain of noisy CPU or video card fans where I have no such problems.

A tad of trivia for the serious computer gamers out there...

And also both fans are not running. I opened the back cover, and checked the HDD fan, but that one is running well.

Strange, I expected one fan dead, but two? tomorrow I'll check this, maybe a loose wire or connector.
So, I will remove the paper cooling fans tomorrow, and if they are faulty, see if they are available somewere.

    Thanks again for the hints!

    Wim.

(sorry for the poor english.....I'm dutch.)
It is not unusual for both fans (above the fuser) to fail soon one after the other, but at same time - a bit unusual. It is best to replace both at the same time if only one fails.
Your English, by the way, is better than some that are native English speakers, IMHO.

All the fans are the same. So if you have a parts machine you can use them.
