[CQ] MX5001N no magenta image

Ive seen this problem posted here before, with possible solutions. i just can't find it now.

the magenta toner is stripped from dev unit. i have tried a new developer unit,along with developer and new drum unit. happens every few months. copy volume is low and no problems with other colors.

your help is appreciated

Possibly the process electrode cover is cracked.

We had this happen several times. initially we thought it was a TDC sensor issue then we started replacing DV units. We called it barber poling. We now check drum units for wear. Check the waste toner & see if you have a lot of developer in it ( Use a magnetic screwdriver ). We traced much of our issue to a lazy tech who was resetting drums on PMs instead of rebuilding or replacing them. We Replaced the defective part ( Tech) and issue dropped of markedly. I know you replaced drum & dv but still worth a look at the drum wear.
