Scan to windows 10

Hello all!

I am loking for help. I have a customer who is in need of another copier, but he needs the copier to scan to Windows 10. Would a Sharp MX-3110n be a decent choice and would this copier scan to Windows 10? If not, what would be a good copier that would scan to Windows 10? What about Sharpdesk? Does Sharpdesk allow scanning to Windows 10?

sharpdesk works on windows 10 really well. i have had no problem with 3110 on win 10. if you do have a problem u can set up scan to email.

To scan locally, I always find it easier to setup scan to main hdd folder : Enable the NAS function under Network Settings .Also enable NBT/WINS from Security Settings->Port Control.

Scanning: Scan 2 hard drive, main folder , click :create pdf for pc browsing.


In your file explorer go to : \\sharp ip address\public\main user=admin, pass=admin

Works with all operating systems.

Related note: If experiencing difficulty SMB scanning in W10 then be sure to disable password protected file sharing options.
