    Sharp MX-4111 Black band

    Hi,
I have Sharp MX-4111 and I'm printing pattern 64-1, pattern 17 and density at 255. Yellow, Magenta and Black looks fine, but I have a black band on Cyan on the front side. The paper feeds LEF. I am baffled by this. If anyone could help I would appreciate.

Re: Sharp MX-4111 Black band UPDATE

    UPDATE:

I have done some further testing. I'm making a 11x17 copy of a small strip of paper with Cyan on there. The copy came out with the black shadow on there. I stopped the copier through the copy process and I can see the image formed on the Black drum. The black band is towards the lead edge, front side of the copy. WHY!?? Please help.

Replace Black Drum and Main Charge kit MX31NRSA AND MX-510MK.

Extra credit for creativity in presenting the problem. And it's not present when you use a similar narrow strip of yellow, magenta or black? Are those single color copies or full color images of a single color original? I'm not sure that I agree with the previous poster ... yet. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I'm wondering if the LSU shutters are opening all the way?
