[CQ] Lines on Copies.

This morning I get a call.

Client: Our copier is making lines!
Me: Print or copies?
Client: Copies! Come quick. We have a lot of copies to do before weekend!
Me: I'm confident you have a dirty scanning glass. Just clean it with soft dampened cloth.
*4 minutes later*
Client: It's still doing it! Just come! We have to copy alot today!
Me: No problem. Sounds like a dirty Cis Assy. I'll be there soon.

57.9 miles, 1 hour 47 minutes later according to dispatch.

I see this. What could the problem be?

Your customer could be blind but then how would she have seen the line.
