[CQ] MX2614 Pale Copies

I've got an issue with a 2614 where the print quality is excellent but when the customer photocopies the copies are light and washed out?

I've cleaned the mirrors and ran through the calibration as per the manual and it's still the same.

Prints from the pc are perfect, colours really bright and vibrant but copies are poor??

Anyone seen this?

I dont remember is it posibble to turn on toner save mode for copy and print function separately (eco). Maybe this can be reason?
Did you check
Operation settings - copy settings- initial status-scaning from document glass (range 1-5)

I have the same problem at MX-3110.
All new, nothing works.

Hotline says: Clean the color image density sensor & the gray field inside !!!

It works.

Maybe the SIT chart needs to be run.
It fixed a couple of our units.
