I am having an interesting CQ issue with an ARM257, black lines. I have a parts machine in good condition and have tried swapping parts. The issue is only from copies, internals are good. I cleaned the optics & mirrors, checked position. Replaced CCD unit and adjusted with no change. I then replaced the IMC board with no change again. I was hoping maybe someone else had seen this and had an idea..

Try replacing the inverter pwb and the copy lamp .

Try another ribbon cable (flat cable) for the ccd.

Unfortunately, no. That customer was not under maintenance and not willing to pay for further work. Have you done the CCD and imager?

I got few units same problem and already scrapped, IMC board FAIL. Unfortunately,sharp DISCONTINUED production for the IMC BOARD on 237/277series

Fixed a couple of these with new ribbon cables.
