If you added toner and it did not help it is quite simple. The toner system is clogged/binding or (most likely) the developer unit is seized.(or it's drive assy.) If you do not know what the development unit is you really need a tech to service your machine. If you want to sink at least a couple of hundred dollars into the machine call a tech if not then just call it a day with that machine.

Not to hijack this thread, but I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to send over the service manual for the sf-2030. The large connector to the document feeder on one of our machines was yanked out from the wires and we have no idea where the wires go now. I doubt the manual depicts the connections, but if it does, or anyone knows where they sit, I'd truly appreciate any help I can get.

      Cheers,

      Zade

I guess kindness and being truly appreciative are no longer considered polite manners. Therefore, please substitute "be kind enough to" with "please", and "I'd truly appreciate" with "I thank you in advance for".

Oh, and lest I forget, thank you 'manuals4you' for leading the way with your immeasurable kindness and generosity towards the forums newest members. Cheers for the link buddy.
