[Misc] mx-m314n with mx-tr11 job separator

I have this machine set up so copies and prints output at the bottom exit and faxes output at the top exit(job separator tray). Intermittently, the machine tries to send a received fax to the bottom tray and jams up the machine. I believe there is a solenoid that changes the gate to go the path of the job separator tray and I think this solenoid is sticking. I don't know where this solenoid is located or what the part number is to order a new one. I was wondering if anyone could help me. thanks

The parts guide for the MX-TR11 is included with the parts guide for the MX-M314N

Yes, I didn't see any solenoid in the parts manual for the mx-tr11 job separator. I'm wondering if the solenoid is already on the main unit or how the gate is changed to the upper tray. I believe something is sticking.

Hi dcooper, take alook at MFP-TB-1188 this talks about a problem like yours, Also if your machine is in a dirty place notice their is a sensor in this area that maybe dirty.
        Hope this helps.
