    mx-m232d need part number for spf glass

    Have customer with MX-M232D . The spf glass has a scratch causing a line. I looked in parts guide and found

    CFIX-0022US55 and went to sharp parts site and see it was discontinued. Years ago the new modified part number would come up when you entered the one from parts guide. I don't believe it does that anymore and wonder if there
    is a new part number for this glass spf glass as it seems much too soon for sharp to discontinue making partavailable.

    Please give me new part number. I will try to go back onto sharpnet to see if I can get it there again. Frank

              Thanks Tom. You are correct. I was looking at the parts guide with the machine before a document feeder had been installed.
              I noticed 2 part nuber in the SP10/RP10 doc feeeder parts guide from JR. One is CFIX-0022RS54 and one is CFIX-0022RS55.

              This has been very helpul. I am also finding out that my parts ordering can't be done directly with Sharp Electronics anymore
              but thru one of their national distributors, one of which is Tristate Camera, in my area.

                  From what I have heard from our department coordinator sharp is getting out of the parts and transfering all parts to a company called Tech Data.

                              still waiting for CFIX-0022RS55. Was told eta of 7/3/18. In the parts guide there are 2 parts numbers . One (CFIX-0022RS54) has a C for correctio next to it and the other(CFIX-0022RS55) has an
                              arrow going in a circle which mean change. Not sure I quite understand that as it seems the RS54 may have been in stock and the other I am waiting on. Frank
