A little dumb with MacOS, on older machines we had issues with 'rendering' jobs, having to power cycle and wipe queue, print as IMAGE seemed less that great workaround.
On this machine, certain PDF's will print w/OS 10.13.6, others will print first couple pages then pause, eject a PS notice page w/xxxx and fontdata (not exact wording, don't have printed page).
Installing the AirPrint driver w/Bonjour(shows MX-3640N ('serial#of machine')), it works fine, driver version 2.0.
Normally we'd install the IP method over LPD port using the driver from the downloaded MacOSX pack (PPD version 1.9, latest), works like crap.
Is there another way to install the PPD driver that works better??? Losing my faith that we can provide good MacOS solutions, especially equipment w/out AirPrint option.
