    AR-507 Disable Personal Counter

    We bought a used 507 and the copier wont copy and the screen is displaying:
    Account Identification required. Please enter on your control device. (Code:PC)

    we do not obviously have their keypad which was attached to the copier. it had 2 wires spliced in the back of the machine. i removed the wires and reattached the original wires. i know with other manufacturers this is a setting in service mode to turn off or on. i cant find it in the service mode or service manual, or am overlooking it. any help would be appreciated. thanks

      Set sim 26-3 to 1 for "built in auditor (default)". =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          set 26-3 to 1 and the machine restarted and the same message popped back up

              Where is Sim at in the menus. I do not see it.
