I've been working on a 623 that runs normal out of tray 1 but not tray 2. Tray 1 copies and prints at 62 ppm like it's supposed to, but tray 2 outputs at maybe 30 ppm. It just prints slow like half speed as if it's spooling or something. It never jams or errors but sounds noticeably louder than tray 1. Louder as in it sounds like its rotating louder. It's very odd. Again, it does this for printing AND copying. Of course tray 1 and 2 are the LCTs so the teachers notice and complain.
I've replaced feed tires, cleaned the one way coupling, checked the allen screw at the end of the feed shaft, replaced the tray 1/2 clutch drive pack with a new one. I thought for sure the clutch pack would fix it for a faulty clutch but no change. I'm a bit stumped because the trays are powered by the same motor I believe and the clutches have been replaced. Any ideas?
I did notice today that I'm running firmware 04.02.d3 and the new is 04.04.d3. I'll update that asap but there's nothing in the readme files about any issues like this. Power is a good dedicated outlet.
