    wierd ghosting issue

    sharp mx 3100n...
I arrived at a site and found the machine ghosting in black...
I heard snapping sounds from the fuser...
    ordered black drum and fuser
ordered a fuser... installed... issue returned... ordered another fuser installed... issue returned...
swapped black and yellow drums... issue returned...
at this point... got help from on high...
turns out... someone swapped the black and yellow drums and swapped the labels...
    long and short...
if you get ghosting and its not caused by fuser (these fusers have a pressure release latch... if not released it ghosts)
just swap out all your drums...
its just simpler and spares you a lot of headaches...

I do this stuff on the weekends too

I find this post to be very confusing.. there was a lot of swapping going on? Typically non-fuser related ghosting can be attributed to the drums or transfer belts.

I had similar issue when costumer got swindled and bought generic toner.

I thought developer fixed it until a few days later the crap toner mixed back in.
