    SHARP AR-M455U crooked copies

I am rebuilding an AR-M455U and I am having a crooked copy issue. I know it has something to do with the optics because it makes a crooked copy on the glass and through the feeder. I swapped the registration assy, no help i adjusted the optical mirrors and didnt improve. I printed an internal document and it came out perfect. Also tested all trays also same result. I have a service manual also and I cannot find a copy skew adjustment anywhere.

    Thanks.

Sorry posted in the wrong place but don't know how to move it now.

Your skew adjuster is at the front left corner of the scanner.

Start by torquing down the support arms for the scanner. The screws get loose, and exacerbate the problem. If you cannot get enough adjustment out of the skew cam, use the Ricoh bear hug. Grab the left arm and bend it up a little, then try your adjustment again.

You have already ruled out all of the paper skew problems that are well known on the Tiger and Jupter series machines. Good work. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thanks BlackCat that worked although a simple yet tedious job. Other factors were included as well. The frame was loose and there was a height adjustment i didnt know about that was causing doc feeder copy quality issues. Thanks again we can deliver the machine with confidence.
