Can't import CSV files on MX-5070N: c:/fakepath/ instead of real file location!

    Hello,

While trying to transfer a CSV file from one copier to another (something I have done previously without problem), I now notice it's not possible because the file path I want to import shows a C:/fakepath instead of the real thing! Wherever I put the file (desktop, C: or USB key), the real path to get to the file doesn't appear, and the import doesn't go through (no modification on the copier). I've tried it on up to date Firefox and Chrome browsers.

So now how can I import a user list or address book?

The display of "C:\fakepath\xx.csv" is normal

Well, if it's normal, how come I can't import the file? The next screen shows no add, erase, modification or error...

        It's quite normal.

Are you typing in each character or are you browsing and selecting it form the list of CSV's?

The system doesn't permit typing, only browsing.

I've even tried importing directly on the copier this morning, using a USB key, but it didn't work either... Something clearly isn't right!
I'm logged as an admin when doing this, of course.

Manually add one address to machine in question.

              Then export to CSV file.

Open this CSV file and fill in desired addresses, this will ensure CSV file is in correct format to ensure proper field mapping.

              Then import this file.

After some more manipulations between copiers, I noticed that I can add emails through the import of CSV files, but it will not delete or modify those already in place if the new file doesn't have them. I don't understand why, but at least now I know! Next time I'll delete manually the irrelevant emails in the list of every copier before updating the new ones in a single batch...

I don't have time to check if it's the same weird thing about users, but I'll presume it is. Why there is a line specifying "erase" of "modify" after the operation is beyond me if it just doesn't work!
