    [CQ] MXM264 grey prints

I have a MXM264 which customer complained was printing light, what they meant were the black solids were not black but grey. So I fitted a new drum, charge and developer, set it all up, calibrated etc. But the blacks are still not black they are grey more of a charcoal colour rather than black. Are there any adjustments or anything I can do to get it to print more black?

What are the counts on the machine? Are they using OEM or generic toner? You could possibly try increasing the laser power in Sim 61-3.

Check if toner save is enabled; are test prints good?

Make sure also that the laser slit glass is clean nd possibly the inside of the laser can get dusty on the mirrors.
