    [CQ] MX-3110 with random voids

My original post, sorry for the "GRAVEROBBING" where I originally posted this.

I am having the same issue only the voids are much bigger. I have replaced the primary transfer unit completely. I rebuilt the black drum and secondary transfer units. There is a good brush on the DV roller. ANY Ideas?

Turns out it was the secondary transfer unit. Although I had rebuilt it, I think the roller behind the belt was the issue. Replaced it with a completely new unit and haven't had this problem since.

I apologize to the forum for posting this originally in an older thread. I didn't know it was such a BIG issue for some people.

    Yes you Phil-b!

Don't worry about Phil B, I think hes a bit crankier than usual because his boyfriend dumped him again.

Anyhoo, do a "panic stop" run copies and open the door to stop the page before and after the fuser to determine where the issue is occurring. These fuser belt clear coats are known to peel of. Pull the dv units and roll by hand as someone mentioned gunk can get under the dr. blades. Check the primary and secondary belts for cracks or material under the belts themselves.

Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!
