    L4-16 code on a MX4141N

I have a machine with this code. I replaced the fuser and I still have the constant code. Any ideas?

This model has sensors which are prone to failure. You can enter SIM mode and test the motor and the sensor.
If the motor works, but he sensors fails, you generally get a clunking noise as the machine turns the release system shaft.

Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!

It was the sensor on the pressure release motor assy. Thank you.

...but replacing the fuser didn't solve the issue? Is this assembly separate from the fuser?

I have had a handful of these that were due to a failing separation motor, something to keep in mind if it comes back.
Where the heck is my spring hook?
