[CQ] MX2640 missing image areas

I have a weird issue with a 2640 which intermittently misses part of the image when printing, its very random. see attached photo of problem. im thinking it might the secondary TS belt in the side door as ive tried most other things.7FA14E0C-F3EC-4294-8364-20BFBEE35D70.jpg

If you have removed the PTC before this happened, be sure it is installed properly.

It can be installed so a part of it is elevated and rubs the toner off the page.

Have you tried to change the primary belt unit ?

I had this once and it was the bushing of the first transfer roller inside the belt. White plastic holder was missing a pin that is holding the primary transfer bushing in place.

It was exactly what you said, the bushing had come away as the pin had been lost. Thanks
