    MX-B350W A0-30

Have a MX-B350W with A0-30 code. Customer called with a jam and when I got there, it was A0-30. Flash firmware and same issue. I have contacted Sharp tech support and they are out of ideas. I have tried the recovery firmware and followed it up with the latest and 2nd to last firmware with same issue. I removed the DF, wireless adapter from the equation with the same result. I removed the fax kit and received an F6-00 code. Install a new fax and back to the A0-30. Any help would be appreciated.

    A0-30 Machine configuration error
, it indicates that the ROM program has said goodbye. Can you call up the serial number in the device in 22-6 or 22-5?? Can you back up the device data to perform a complete initialization? You have done the firmware, the latest version is 03.03.e1
Can you print 22-6 or otherwise access the device? Web interface?

Very odd code... I'm surprised it doesn't point at all to the MFP board since all of those things are plugged into it. I had to replace one on this series once for a firmware update error code. It would pop up after 6 months or so. Replacing the PWB fixed it as far as I know. Different error code than what you're getting, but seems like the common denominator.

Sorry for the delay. I forgot to mention in the original post that I have replaced the MFPC and the program ROM and had the same issue. There is no HDD in this machine, so you would think everything is wiped out with Program ROM and the IP address settings must have changed since the new MFPC. I have not been able to get into System Settings or web interface. I am able to see S/N in TC 22-5 and will not allow a 22-6 to be printed.

We have seen this before on A0-30 on two machines. I removed the power filter and plugged directly to the wall. Never seen the error code since.

I finally fixed the issue. I kind of worked my way backward to the original PWB and Program ROM. I did the Recovery firmware on the new MFPC and Program ROM, same issue. Same thing but with new MFPC and original Program ROM, same issue. As soon as I installed the original MFPC and Program ROM, the machine came to ready. I am guessing the Recovery firmware is the true fix to the issue. Not really sure why the New MFPC and Program Rom would not fix the issue and I guess I don't care enough to figure out why.
