    Sharp MX-3140 Error '' auto adjustment has failed''

    Hi everyone
    I trying to do color calibration for Sharp MX-3140 after scanning the calibration page this massage appears '' auto adjustment has failed''
    Any suggestion please

    When you put the paper down on the glass, did you set it down in the orientation that it came out of the printer? Very dumb, but they print it upside down, so it tricks everyone. So when you print the "Printer Calibration" in the second half of the 46-74, it's upside down.

      What does your density look like on the test print? If it doesn't meet a certain density requirement it will fail. You can also try laying 3 sheets of paper on top of it (Sharp recommendation) when you scan.

        This error occurs when the color sensors are dirty and need to be cleaned. They are located on the right above the transfer belt. Open the right side flap, remove the paper tray, take out the toner cartridges, remove the left side panel, remove the holder for the toner cartridges (including 1 plug), clean both sensors including the gray counter fields, clean them properly. Assemble and it should work. Approximately 30 minutes of work
