    Sharp MX-3051 bad quality prints

    Hi guys,

Anyone has seen this before? It's not coming everytime also if i re-enter SIM 64-5 it looks good and then re-eneter again it looks bad...
We have tried new transfer, secondary transfer, TC PWB, MC PWB, All drumunits. When i stop the print and check transferbelt the picture looks bad there also.
    Thanks.

Hi, I'm assuming that you have cleaned the optics including the CCD unit and laser. What happens if you do 50-22 and then run 46-74? It would also be interesting to see how much the device ran in color/black and white. The MX-3640 used to have an error that the SD card was defective. But as I said, more information wouldn't be bad. Did the error occur suddenly or after maintenance? Questions about questions
It could also be that the calibration sensors are dirty. Service Manual 4-13, there are 2 that need to be cleaned

The paper seems wavy, does the paper feel damp? On 1 machine, I believe a MX-4070N, I use to get C4 errors and CQ. The outer PTC housing was cracked, it is hard to see, but a new holder resolved the issue.

I've had something similar happen to me a few times, secondary transfer roller was not reaching full extension. Clutch in the main body cluch pack responsible for this action was dirty. Good luck, let us know what it was.

            Hi mate,

This looks like poor transfer from drum unit to transfer belt do to a mechanical or high voltage issue.
Try to print a test chart in multiple copies and jam the machine in order to see how information looks on photoconductor drums and primary transfer belt.
Dont forget to let us know the results.

            Regards,
            Alex

Would you happen to have the part number for the clutch? just for future reference
