I can't afford to buy the very latest models because I don't have enough money. I want a model that is efficient in performance and has spare parts widely available in the market.

At this time you should be able to get a MX-4071 for less than $1,600.00, shipping included. If you have time to wait you may even find one pop up for sale with less than 15K total.

When buying used equipment the toner levels make a big difference. Buying a used MX-4071 with less than 15K pretty much guarantees the toner levels. If you buy one with low toners you are already adding $450 to the cost. Add a fuser and you might as well go with a low meter used BP.

And are you sure that you need A3 ? You have the new BP-C533/C542 from Sharp or AM-C400/C550 from Epson that are fantastic (at least from what I saw in training) to replace an old or used A3 copier.

But why not recommends an AM-C instead of a BP ? I really fuckin love theses models.
Don't try to make me believe you don't get wet in front of that print head.
This is fair. If you're doing office text and NOT full page images, the AM-C series is great. Wish they'd take it, beef it up a little, and make it even higher speed to replace the 21000 series.

Because after replacing the lower heater, the fusing belt, the modified exit roller, bearings and bearing holders, bearings on the lower heater and separation plate, i dont know if your $11000 is correct.

edit: i forgot to add the time you spend rebuilding these also
The bearings are well-protected from over-heating by the heat-insulating sleeves (besides the fact these fusers run SO much cooler than fuser w/ upper roller instead of belt evidenced by 10 sec. warmup time from power on). So, we reuse bearings, the separtion plate (easy to wipe clean - nothing really sticks to it permanently), never saw need for "modified exit roller". We just change out belt & lower fuser roller (approx. $50). I have easily rebuilt 30 of these Sharp fusers. We also service KM machines - they don't sell fuser parts. Customer breaks a guide, an actuator, etc., scratches it w/ letter opener, removing a jam, and you're buying a new fuser (even KM A4 fusers cost more than $300). Rebuild time = 1 hour

I don't buy the entire toner tank; I only replace the chip on the back of the tank and refill it with bulk toner. The chip resets 100% twice.

I can fully refill all four colors with just 100 dollars.

I researched the fusing system of the device. This model does not have a web cleaner like high-speed machines. Instead, its design incorporates a new technology where a silicone liquid is evenly sprayed onto the roller inside the fusing system, preventing the paper from sticking to the hot roller. Over time, with frequent use, this silicone liquid depletes, causing the paper to stick to the hot roller.

Good luck with that! I have yet to encounter a compatible toner for Sharp, that did not create service issues sooner or later, and that maintained correct Pantone colors. A Sharp engineer told me that the formula for Sharp color toner has approx. 200 variables - particle size, density & shape, tribo-electric charge characteristics, pigment color & tone, polymer brittleness & melting point, etc. They feel pretty confident, for good reason, that no one can replicate it correctly, exactly. Of all the brands I see, Sharp reproduces color the most precisely (I took a color theory class in college). They paid big bucks to acquire the Pantone Color Matching System. It shows!

You’re right, I understand what you’re saying, but I’ve found a type of toner powder that works well for me. So far, I’ve made 5,000 color copies with it, and it’s much more cost-effective compared to Sharp’s original cartridges. If we consider the quality of Sharp’s original toner to be 100, this toner delivers a quality of about 90.

                        5000 copies...on 1 machine...

If you dont print, you won't get into trouble, thats true...

But for the people who do print a lot...DVbox will fail, drums will fail, toner will get everywhere, especially on and into the laserunit/main drive

                        Brave man you are
