    F2-64 F2-95

    Hello,

I have a MX-6071 that started with F2-64. It printed a couple of pages and the code F2-64 appears. We tried swapping DV unit, another toner, but no luck. We took out the toner hopper and cleaned it out. Now the message F2-95 appears. We tried another toner, but also no luck.

    Does anyone had this before?

    Regards,

    Ramon

Had this once as well, the toner hopper is broken inside the tube. It's a pain to replace, may not be a bad idea to have a second set of hands JUST in case.

I replaced both the toner hopper and the black toner motor. That cured the problem.

The hopper replacement was quit easy. Remove toners, belt, dev and drum. Then you can remove the unit (where the toners go in, no screws!!). The hopper unit is set with 2 screws and don't forget the disconnect the cable.
