    bp-50c26 and bp-50m26 fuser film

Hello, lately I have had several breaks in the fuser film of the BP50C26 and also in the BP50M26. I have had to replace the BP-FB703, and most of them don’t even reach 100,000 copies when they should last up to 600,000. On all machines, I perform the film adjustment using simulation 6-8, but they still break far earlier than expected.

My question is: has anyone found fuser films from sources other than Sharp, as they only sell the complete unit?

    Thank you!

We haven't really had issues with fusing belts on BP's, at least not within 100k. Make sure the energy save settings are low, less than 5 minutes. Also you can turn on the fuser cleaning in advanced settings for every 10k, should help with any buildup. Is it only a few machines having issues, or is it a bunch of 26ppms?

Our Rep just told us to replace the whole fuser unit, I think we get em for around $350,but make sure to get the new updated long part number from the recent tech bulletin.
