    mx-3071 concerning U2-74 error

I have read the other posts already on this error. It was suggested that firmware, emmc. flash rom, or mfpc could all contribute. I arrived at the call to find that the error had cleared itself by then. Before I went, I wanted to be sure I had the latest best fw version. They don't have a security version on this machine. When I went to update, in red it said file (NG). I had some other usb sticks with the file to try. On all of them it gave me the same message or it seemed to go through the motions of starting the process, but then gave me a list of sections that said they were corrupted. I find this odd to be on multiple usbs especially when they had been previously working. Would it sound like the machine is giving me grief for some reason ? We are monitoring the operation of it now. perhaps a glitch of some kind or signs of something deeper ? Thanks for your consideration.

We have two CR4.5s with the same fault, the devices can still function if the user presses Ok.

    So far we have tried:

    HDD to SDD modification
    new mSATA
Emergency FW (failed as yours did)

Our only option left is replacing the MFPC PWB, but we have yet to source a new board.

Yeahhhhh new board is really the only way unfortunately. When I dealt with it, the FW wouldn't update either, and there was no way to get around it, even if I tried a CN update. After replacement, USB updated just fine. You could also try updating through the service side webpage, I didn't try that in the field.

MXFR62U also exists for this machine...

I suspected as much. Thanks all. Hopefully these glitches will be kept to a minimum for the time being.
