    BP-XXCXX | Titan/Atlas Series - Passwort Reset

    Hello everyone !

Currently got a customer that lost the admin passwort, the old methods seemingly don't work anymore (Cloning - Service menu) since the Service password apparently also gets changed to the admin password on the new series.

The customer currently has the error F2-43 which most likely is just the Toner Y, but to eject the Toner you need to go into the menu that needs Admin rights.

So did anyone here had to reset one of them or is there maybe a Switch on the PCB again ?

    Thanks in advance !

Update: So after some solutions via PMs i got from you guys.
Sadly none of them worked, it seems Sharp closed all of the old inoffical ways to reset the password.

My Sharp contact also said the only way is the offical one with involving sharp and paying for it.

The customer can work now atleast, while searching I've found SIM10-3 to eject toner.

If I perhaps ever find a way to reset on this series I will Update this thread again !

You also can just pry it out of the machine, and it doesn't hurt the machine. Nothing is locking it in, just holding it there, more so.

But yes, you have to access Sharp's site and request a password reset now.

Yeah I know, but the customer is 300km away and I didnt wanna overwhelm my contact on side with guilt when something breaks or goes wrong
The machine comes back to us in 6 months when the construction site is done and then I will look into the machine with the secret password..

PS: Great username, I can only agree 100%
