    MX-M5071 HDD to SDD Issue

Ive been using 1TB XOC Nitro SSD on MX-M1206's just fine, just plug in and the thing self formats in two minutes. But today I tried doing it on a MX-M5071 with a 512 XOC Nitro SSD and no go,E7-03 no mater the format FAT32 ExFat NTFS. 2 diff SSD's same brand were used. Both were picked up on laptop and were working. Has any one have any success with SSD's on M5071's? If so what brand and size SSD did y'all use.

Sharp has a ssd kit for the 71 series machines. Says unable to use if data security kit is installed and also says unable to use on A3 B&W machines. The one that comes in the kit is 6GB/s kit number is RH-IX0379fcpzq

For whatever reason you can replace HDD with SSD ONLY on CR4.5, not CR4 BCR4 BCR4.5

Still hate it. I find it silly that they use one of the most garbage HDD's imaginable and then have the nerve to charge 7 or 8 times the cost of what you can buy it from any online retailer.

The good thing, is you can put any HDD in there, so long as it's the read/write speed and capacity are equal or greater than what's in there. If we have one happen early in the contract, we put in a Western Digital drive and don't have issues afterwards. Haven't done that in the monochrome machines though, as we have only a dozen or so out there, compared to a couple hundred color machines.

I have a lot of BCR4 and BCR4.5, I'm starting to replace almost all their HDD (WD Blue or WD Black).
