    BP70C55 50-22 issues

I have a 70C55 that is running out of calibration regularly. I don't have another device to swap parts.

Having changed the developer I still couldn't get a 50-22 to work. I've it running by a 50-20 but this only lasts so long.

    Any ideas?

I just ran into this and it was the transfer belt slipping. Will it take the other calibrations without erroring out? Also, what is the 50-22 doing? Is there an error code that appears such as a range 93?

The only time I've seen this, we swapped the whole transfer unit (had a parts machine), and the problem never came back.

Thanks to the both of you. I never actually noted the error code on the 50-22. The 44-2 worked ok, the rest of the calibration seems fine after the 50-20.

Great shout. I will get a new unit ordered and into it.

hi there we normally stretch the springs that push the one roller out and that helps sometimes you have to take the belt off and clean the outer rollers as well.

I've fitted a new transfer unit, but still getting an error DATA_SUB_K_R_3ed 17

Tried stretching the springs on this new unit, there is no slipping when turning by hand.

            Any other thoughts?

If you have another registration sensor unit to swap with, I'd try that. It's a 10 second swap and doesn't hurt anything. After that, I'm pretty sure it's PCU, but don't quote me on that.

Since you're able to calibrate manually, I'd say the black drum *should* be fine, but you could try swapping with another color just to be safe.

Thanks for your responses. I've a sensor ordered. Unfortunately I've none, I can borrow tried swapping the drum but no joy. Thanks
