MXB476W Scanning issue only scans a few pages then stops any suggestions

A client for my company has an scanning issue with the sharp mx-b476W. When they scan a large document only some of the pages goes through and rest does not. Is there any setting that i can change on the sharp. Also will updating the firmware help?

How does it scan? By email, to a network folder, to a USB stick? What firmware version is currently on the device? Questions, questions, questions! What have you tried and tested yourself? When it stops the scanning process, do you get an error message, or what's its processing status?

If they're scanning checks, it would likely stop the job. I'm guessing you can't recreate it, right?

It scans to an email address. I turned on the auto scan feature and it fixed the scanning issue.

Sounds like a file size issue then.
