    mx2651 error l4-03

Hi, I have two machines with the same problem, both with error L4-03.

The fuser, the entire wiring, the fuser motor, and the control board have been replaced.

The firmware has also been updated.

I don't know what to do anymore.

    Thanks.

Does the fuser turn & sound normal in Sim 6-1? By control board, do you mean you changed out the PCU (if the fuser motor runs, it's NOT at all likely to be a bad PCU)? Is the L4-03 immediately pop up, or is it intermittant? Did you try a brand new fuser, or just one out of another machine?

Did you ONLY replace the motor? These machines have a bulletin/update for a drive gear and shaft that it attaches to, since teeth break on the original gear.

The error says it's from a fuser motor block.

Does this have something to do with it?

          Thanks.

This is from another tech that I work with, haven't seen it myself on this model

"Check the pressure sensor and spring behind the front cover below the op panel"

Apologize if this has already been mentioned.

                    Good luck.
