Have 2 mxm7570 in a bank (70 miles away), 50 ft apart, mostly evenly used, (one is getting more use now), the first rebuilds were done by co workers that have 20+ years on sharps each. Had troubles with web wraps, and POD jams, and h5-01 errors, fuser ghosting also. Bought new fusers for both, went mostly ok untill the 600k pm came, rebuilt, by co workers, and had more of the same. I get sent up (20yr Sharp vet also) rebuild both with roughly 50k on them and have some pod jamming, but not as bad as before, but still too much (by 900k). The co workers did the rebuild correctly, but problems still happened. I my self dont have many M7570, but I do have a few that are 1.2 Mil and still running strong (lucky they are local).. Other than the Lh pawls are very easy to knock out of place. Bearing placement (relative to frame) is a known issue and known to us all, so that is not a problem we have had. One thing that comes to mind, and I have mentioned it before on CTN, is I believe the LH web is too "dry" compared to Sharps webs in the past. None of this will fix the problem but its just an observation of mine.
I am going to order a new fuser and see what happens. I also had web problems on this machine but replaced the entire lower web unit. Yesterday this fuser had a new problem, a broken HR picker finger that wasn't broken on Wednesday. I also adjusted the 50-10 setting for copies and prints by -2 so we will see if that helps.

    Thank you.

With a new fuser only $142.00 more than the MX-754HK we are considering not even rebuilding them when they have reached end of life.

I seems wasteful but it may make better sense financially.

One fo the tech told me yesterday an plate warped on one of these and popped a thermostat. He said it is the second plate to warp and pop the thermostat in a rebuilt fuser on these.

Might be to soon to call but I think copietec and nachoman4life are on the right track with shifting the lead edge. It would also explain all of the broken picker fingers I have had on this model. Adjusted the lead edge by -2 points (approx 1 mm) and have not had a single jam for a week now!

          Thank you

I do not like to mess with factory settings but sometimes on mystery jamming issues changing lead edge has helped me out in the past.

I wholeheartedly agree with you there. I like the newer generation Sharps in that they let you return some of the sims to default so you can try auto adjustments again. Which I am thinking of doing on the paper trays if they continue to jam.

              Thank you

I have a couple of these machines, low copy count with this same problem. The error log is full of the pod errors but it wont recreate the jams for me. Twice they had the H%-01 and paper accordian jammed in fuser. I tried latest firmware, increases the lead void edge. The fuser all looks in good shape. It is about 85% used up on maint. Maybe it is dry webs? These machines ran troublefree until getting up on maint counts. I am not sure what I think, but I called sharp and they dont have anything specific about it. The guy on the phone thinks it is a power issue. Ill check into that next time there. Dont want to hijack this thread but just seeing if anyone has found anything else on this issue. Thanks

Had this same thing happen the other day. Swapped fusers and it worked great, but still wanted to figure out what was wrong with the first fuser. Ends up the pins on the fuser connector are getting bend flat from being pulled in and out. Press in on the end of each pin to put a slight bend back in the pin and they make better connection again. We have been having all sorts of trouble with the newer machine connectors for the fusers and side doors.
