    MXC303WH P_ON jams

Our customer had not reported the fault, but I was passing one day and happened upon the problem.

It seems they will send a print job and the device power cycles. They will get three - seven 'jams' in a row. Then it works fine.

Also it seems to happen at a particular time of day as though it is a specific job type. Unfortunately I cannot seem to get this theory narrowed down.

Any ideas? we don't have many of these in the field.

Have not had this issue before; however, the older Neo models had an issue with power cycling due to SNMP glitches. It may be the same here.

You can disable SNMPD and SNMP-TRAP, both in Security Settings. Or, disable bi-directional communication in the printer driver.

P_ON jams usually mean the machine has been turned off and on without clearing a jam.

Found this for other models :
M350N : A print job is crashing the spool
MX2640N : Check the RAM (dirt, locked in position) or replate it
MXB355W : Check the mass from the cassette tray 1 (a small metalic thingy near the gear)
CR5 : DC PWB fault from factory
