Intermittent Lines on the edge of copy/scanned documents

This is on a brand new BP50C26 machines with about 30k prints.

Currently scratching my head on what adjustment needs to be made to resolve an inconsistent line appearing on copy/scanned documents.

sometimes the line is feint, sometime its prominent.

The line does not appear on direct printouts.

Firmware already updated to the latest.

    Any ideas?

I could not identify the colour of the line. I would check the drum unit on the corresponding colour. Looks like a drum cleaning blade failing. Stop a print mid cycle to see if it is on the ITB maybe a ITB cleaning blade problem.

If all else fails read the Service Manual!

If that fails, meet me at the pub and we will discuss it.

stored printouts come out clean, so I believe its safe to assume the drum and the ITB are fine, apologies for the lack of clarification.

this is mainly on the RSPF

I've had this on many bp machines now.
There is adjustments in sim 50-27 values F and I (scanner not Fax ) that will fix this.
The attached pic is a screenshot from the Australia/NZ handy guide.

i set up all my sharp copiers with 10' were 30' are on fax and 5's were the 20's are on fax! If you bring up the simulation 50-27 push the scan button they are all 0's?
I have brought this to the attention of the sharp reps and they have not created a firmware to adjust the values with out manualy changing at setups or in field when the issue arises? So there is no confusion check fax values and change only the scan values to 10's and 5's. This is what i do for edge scan lines !

Go into 50-27. Check the scan settings. If they are all 0s, set them to the same settings as the fax settings. Only ran across this once, but that fixed it.
              Hope this helps.

                [Solved]

Thank you for the sim and setting adjustment input.

I managed to get rid of the lines by following sim 50-27.

                Cheers.
