    New hire training manual?

Hello, I am wondering if anyone knows of a manual that explains the copy process and things a new hire can study, to get a idea how things work before on the job training begins? Even to go to school you have to pass basic test before you can stay in class. Thanks for any suggestions.

I mean... Sharp already offers all of that through the training courses on their service portal?

Additionally to the Portal, there's always the "Operational Descriptions" in the service manual.

I don't know if you have Sharp Academy. There you can learn the basics from color theory or basics elecronics etc. You also have trainings for the copier

Thanks for the reply, This person would be starting sometime this winter. I was just looking for something he could study the basics of the copy process before hand. I know when I started I didnt have anything like that, the dealer I worked for didnt even have books for all the models even though they were a minolta dealer, this was back quite a ways. Just seeing if there was anything out there now a days for general training.

So far the operational descriptions are what we have printed out. That is basically what I am after.

This is a Toshiba guide, but it is well written, and I use this as a starting point for our new technicians. Also explains solenoids, motors, clutches and other various components.
