Sharp MX-4070 unable to access address book via the web interface

We have a Sharp MX-4070 that I believe the prior company locked out the address book, document operations, and system settings tabs on the webpage. We tried restoring factory settings on the mfp and have also gone in to the service login page and under administration tried resetting the display page to all, but to no avail. Any other suggestions or ideas to restore the webpage back to factory settings so that we have access to system settings, address book, etc.?

First thing I would try is to pop in a different HDD

I would but I am thinking the company prior to us blocked out the setting on the webpage so customer could not go in and change settings. I have dealt with that before and going into the service_login page and changing the administrator settings would fix the issue.

the Service side of web interface is the only place you can do that, that I know of.

Possibly a soft switch, do a 22-6 and look for soft switches that have been changed from default (white text w/black background)

Reason I would try the HDD is .....

Or under Admin Reports, print "web page settings" report and compare to working machine

I do have to go back possibly tomorrow, I will bring an extra HDD and check the 22-6 soft switches. Thank you for the suggestions.

I went out to the client today and installed a new HDD, still the same issue, no address book, document operations, user control, system settings tabs on the screen, just the status tab only. I am able to access the for mentioned tabs if I go to the search bar on the right and type in system settings, address book, etc. I can manage with out those tabs, but would like to get them back if possible as it makes it easier to access.
I can access them from the copiers control panel just not the web page. Here is a picture of a normal webpage. I would like to get this one to look like it.webpage.png

Have you tried a different browser?

I've had this tabs "problem" using Firefox on a MX-5070V, while our MX-5070N show just like they should. I know which tabs are which, so I don't mind for this one machine, but if it bothered me more, I know it works well using another browser (Chrome in this example below). Note that using Firefox, I can still see a very thin black tab sequence upon which you can click to use as shortcut if you remember which one you want to access, instead of following the main map site link on the upper right corner.
Unfortunately, I am of no help for the access problem of your initial post...
