Is it possible to disable Fax on the MXC304W?

Like completely disable it, not only delete the shortcut on the homepage

I'm not a betting man, but if I were, I would bet on the horse named "Error Code"

I would assume that just unplugging fax board would result in some type of code.

F6-00 most likely.

I tried this on a MXM455 after seeing your post. Initially looks like it will work but after about 10 minutes will throw F6-00

You should be able to disable the fax in system settings/device settings or is this a lexmark/sharp

My bad, the copier in our shop with a disconnected fax board is a MX-C407F. No F6-00 on this one, just error 900 popping after sometime. We disconnected the fax to make sure error 900 was not from fax board.... Fax disabled in settings too.
