We finally tried a couple Sharp-marks. The first one throws this error intermittently when waking from sleep mode. The hotline's suggestion was to request an RA. The next machine that came in does the same thing, errors when waking from sleep mode. We tried resetting connectors and different outlets. Currently trying a line conditioner just for the heck of it. Anyone had this?

Re: MXC357F - 126.11A error code
Had this error on a XC4140 once and replaced the LVPS. I dobut you have two machines in a row with a bad LVPS though.
We have only sold one of these as we were not impressed with the design. The MX-C407F is a huge upgrade for less than $300 more. If space is limited though the MX-C407F may not fit.
The error relates to the fuser but the description is "Line frequency has gone outside the operating range."
I have a feeling the hotline does not like troubleshooting Lexmarks and RA is their most common fix. -

How poor and cheaply made is the product if they don't even want them back? So glad I don't have to deal with Sharp anymore.

Same problem here. I have 2 MXC357F. Wish me luck! Line condition I used didn't help.Comment

Re: MXC357F - 126.11A error code
A line conditioner won't adjust the AC frequency. Are you sure it isn't a main input issue if you have had 2x printers doing the same fault? The main power has the frequency set so it may be that the machines are detecting a poor sinewave, and this is the machine just detecting that.Comment

Re: MXC357F - 126.11A error code
If Sharp lets you guys keep these machiens after an RA I would apply firmware updates as they are released in the future. They might start working. I think the Sharpmarks are currently 3 levels behind their Lexmark counterpart. Lexmark firmware updates fix loads of issues.Comment

Re: MXC357F - 126.11A error code
On a mxc407f , while waiting for a main board to fix a random firmware error 900, I figured that I would try the latest firmware from Lexmark. All went smooth, (but it did not fix the error). We have about 20 in the field, at least 3 are giving random 621.01a codes. Line voltage ok, fusers and connections ok, power supply ok.....so........Comment

Re: MXC357F - 126.11A error code
I have not been brave enough to try to update a Sharpmark with Lexmark firmware.
There was a new firmware from Lexmark released a few weeks ago but it was taken down quickly. It was 081.205
Just about all of their updates address 900 errors.
Fuser errors on this series is the main issue we see.Comment
