Sharp MX 3110 N Power indicator shows yellow and will not power up

Hello, not sure what I am looking at needing to be replaced: Power Supply or a Board, or something else?

The power indicator light will not go from yellow to green. Stuck in a warm-up stage. The touch-screen does not come on either. All of the doors and trays are closed.

Most likely culprit is the SD card. Get yourself a new one from Sharp, or if you have the HDD Raw Copy Tool and a good SD card from the same model, make a copy and either put that copy on a new SD card or rewrite the one in the machine that won't boot

Thank you for the information. If I understand correctly, maybe the SD card has a physical problem but the software on it is still ok?
And so I can copy it using a downloadable Raw Copy Tool and reinsert the copy and all will work ok after that?
Also would you know the size of the SD card I will need? Maybe 128MB? That's what Ricoh's usually require anyway.

The MX-3110 SD image is just under 4Gb. I use mostly 8Gb on most models. I buy the SanDisk SDHC blue cards from Amazon.

Unplug the HDD and see if you get an E7-03 error. The HDD boots after the SD and MFP board; if unplugging HDD does not generate an error, SD or MFP is the issue.
There is also an LED combination troubleshooting section for SD and MFP in the service manual.
If machine has a fax kit, most likely SD card

on the main power, before the power indicator blinking, the scanner unit moving or not. if move mean sd card corrupted . if nothing happen mean power supply unit failed to supply 24/12v

check the scanner, make sure there are no paper clips or staples. Happened to me before. There was a paperclip on the board. After I removed it the machine powered up and booted as normal.

Could you tell me which board you are referring to? A Circuit Board? Thank you.

Hello the scanner does move so as you advised it is probably the SD Card. I opened up the back to check the boards and to remove the SD Card but it is not where I thought it would be near the Ethernet Port. Could you tell me which panel it is hiding under? Thanks again.
