    Sharp compatible RFID readers

We've recently gotten a deal for about 100 Papercut installs and I went to order the USB RFID readers and they are $150 each? Is this the normal price people have been paying for these? Does anyone know of an alternative one that is more cost effective? From what I'm reading it seems like any reader that interfaces like a keyboard should work.

I'm currently looking at this one. WAVE ID(R) Plus | rf IDEAS

    Thanks in advance.

Service Manauls will list compatible readers. You may want to contact ACDI for a quote as they are also the seller of Papercut (I think). $150.00 is normal. Sharp also sells a kit to mount them for each model but you can but the individual parts much cheaper than the kit. At 100 install it is worth it. You can also just use good Velcro.

The last quote we got from them for reader was the
    Elatec TWN4.
