Hy guys

I replaced an original ( sharp ) hdd with a compatible (with the same characteristics) one with the same features but it gives me an error code

it is possible to install a non original hd on sharp machines?

Yes you can use an off the shelf HDD. You likely need to install watermark firmware if you haven't.

I use MQ01ABF032 Toshiba 320GB and it always works. Might be because the one you have pictured is a 500GB HDD. Hope you get it going. Good Luck.
