[Error Code] Mx4071 u2-40 / a0-19 (30,f5)

MX4071

• random u2-40 codes, I get the email alert, customer never calls
• customer says they have been resetting it by OFF/ON via OP panel switch.
• Machine no longer resets

When I replace the eMMC PWB

• machine will not boot.
• white screen with error code A0-19 (30,F5)
• cannot access emergency firmware via dip switch

When I put the original eMMC PWB back into machine, I can get it to boot to operational ready. Problem is within 24 hours the machine will code out with U2-40

Any suggestions, welcome

I was told a good while back that a lot of u codes are power related. Do you have one of those surge protectors that log events?

So we have had a U2-40 on 4 seperate machines in the series previous to the MX-4071. We replaced the eMMC in each one and the U2-40 never came back.

Do you think the new eMMC you installed might be bad? Maybe install it in a machine in the shop and see if it boot up.

As long as I don't look at the numbers on this machine, I'll sleep like a baby.
