Its the same things as the older generation models, with the setting listed as 'Paper Curl Improvement' in those. Its a new name for the same thing.
Basically, it extends the warm-up timer. This increases the chance that there will be no temperature discrepancy or variable between the Fuser Belt and the Lower Pressure Roller. When this is the case, the general output has less curl.
The setting is always on 0 as default. The higher you go, the longer the warm-up time. If I've got a machine having Paper Curl issues, I always put this setting on either 1 or 2 (never higher as the customer will complain about a slow machine all of a sudden).
You can also reduce Paper Curl issues by changing the paper weight setting in Device Control or changing Plain/Warmup/Ready temp in 43-01 depending on the paper stock in use.
