MX-TU16 Unavailable?

This TU16 tray and motor seems to be unavailable. Someone told me it was discontinued. I dont know how that can be because you can still buy machines that it goes onto. Seeing if anybody knows anything about this?

It is no longer showing as an item to order from Sharp. Completely removed.

I think you would need to order the pieces as parts now if that is an option.

They still sell machines that use it. You can orser the parts to make one, but there are a lot of parts, some for tray but most for the shift motor assembly.

You may consider ordering the tray/lever bits as parts from the MX-TU16 Parts Guide $60.00. Then order a BP-TU10 and use the shifter out of that $50.00.

Looking at both parts guides the shifter part #'s are the same for a MX-TU16 and a BP-TU10.

Yes it is dumb that Sharp stop selling an option for a copier they still sell but they have to stop production somewhere along the line.
