As far as I know, there is no way to copy address books from brand to brand. They all use different file types. If there is a program to change the file types so they can work, I would love to get my hands on it, as I am the installer for the branch I work at. I hate when one of our salesmen replaces a machine with a different brand, because I can't copy over the address book and it makes my day a lot longer. Or I have to involve the customer's IT, and that is always a nightmare.

If you can save the Ricoh address book as a csv file then you can import it into the Sharp. That is the only way that I know of. We did it with a canon before but it doesn't fill in all of the blanks but it comes close.

What the guy in the YouTube video say doesn't tell everyone at he beginning is that he already made a Sharp temple before he started.

The fastest way I have found to take an address book for one manufacture to another is to export from the address book from old machine a .csv (if possible) then copy and paste the names and addresses from the file to the new machine address book. That's for email addresses.

One can kind of do the same thing for scan SMB, but the way one manufacture does scan SMB can be a little different for another manufacture in setup. Also, the passwords never transfer.

To this date I have yet to find an app that would move address book info from one manufacture to another.
