    Scanning to folder tree

Is there an option on the MX or BP versions to scan into a folder-tree?

So you can go through the folders and select the folder you want to scan to from the screen of the mfp?

Just found out the LexSharp models can do this...

Technically, yes... However, it's not free, and you have to be part the AIP Group that gives you access to the connector to make it possible. I have seen it on an MFP(maybe 2600 or 5001) a few years ago, and was very intrigued by it, but when installing the new machine they didn't want that scanning, just directly into one shared folder.

Yes you can!! I have just tried this on an mx3060 (cr4) and from network folder, you press where it says input address and click browse, this will display the list of pcs on the network, click on pc and providing you know the password (user name credentials) you will see the shared folders for that pc. It can be time consuming though.
Networking skills are advantageous but use of a 3m vacuum cleaner is essential
