My customers copier is throwing H5-01 code with no jam codes. It occurred on 6/15 with no jam code and I flashe firmware to 4.00 (Latest firmware I had at the time). H5-01 code occurred again today with no jams. Flashed firmware to the latest firmware of 4.11.
When I say no jam codes, I mean the last jam was 5/15/23 and the last POD1 jam occurred 9/21.
The following is what Sharp suggested.
1-Check fusing unit installed 2-Check fusing drive section 3-Check connection state of sensor (POD1) 4-Check harness and connections. 5-Check / replace sensor (POD1) 6-Check / replace PCU PWB 7-Check / replace fusing unit 8-SIM 14 to cancel.
I have taken the fuser apart and inspected and everything looks fine. Harnesses look fine, as well. Has anyone else dealt with this? I am thinking more of a PCU issue than sensor or fuser issue.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
