    ar-m700 freezing

    hi all i am not a begginer on copiers. but these one makes me grey beffore my time.
    THE FAULT-during a print job the copier will stop, no error codes,no jams
    by openning the main door and closing it after warm-up the job continues like nothing happened. very intermitent fault
    WHAT I TRIED-hard disc new,flash roms new,latest firmware,even door switch,all hi voltage units-main transfer+drum unit maybe arcing.tryed all this no luck yet,
    any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

      Machine lock ups on Print/Copy jobs: Upgrade AR-P19 Firmware to V4.00 or higher. Possible HDD problem, format with sim62-01 or 62-08.
      Possible corrupt firmware. Please ensure that you are definitely using the latest versions.
      I'd also disconnect the machine from the clients network completely. Try copy and self-test prints while disconnected. Try network printing with your Notebook PC using a cross-over cable. This could be a fault on their network causing the copier to lockup. Check the Trouble codes (I know you said no 'error' codes, but what about Trouble codes hidden in service mode?).
