    [Jamming] BP-FN11 paper ejection problem

Im working on a BP-FN11 where the paper is not being ejected out of the finisher properly. I already did the timing adjustment for the disposition tray as it was way off, now the rubber flapper roller seams to moving twice as slow as it should. every other set is when the flappers rotate to push the set out. but every other set when the flappers don't rotate, the set sits in the exit area of the finisher till the next set comes along and the flappers rotate. Is there another timing adjustment for the flappers? any help would be appreciated.

We have seen similar issues. The BPFN11 drive clutches are almost identical to the MXFN27 and are still being over-greased from the factory. There should be zero hesitation of the clutch springs pushing up on the clutch gear. Will require disassembly to verify. See bulletin CCE-2537. Hope this helps.

Basically every issue we've seen on FN27, you're going to see on the BPFN11 as well. Whoever decided to reuse the FN27 model needs fired.

We have now seen two of the BP-FN11 finishers not aligning papers properly before stapling. Per Bulletin CCE-2946 we have replaced the Return Belt Unit with the updated part# 0CWFM1H670005. It is early but so far it has seemed to fix the issue in both finishers.

This part # is also compatible with the MX-FN27N finishers.

I had some of those MXFN-27N ,and BPFN-11, if you have a F1-22 is your dispose tray, if jam code is FNPS1_S (on BPFN-11) is timing problem and fixable with latest firmware v3.1, when updating do it via CN update, don't ask me why all I know it works better than 49-1
Finishers 27N ,and BPFN11 will make a loud noise and jam at exit, replace dispose tray.

Just to let everyone know, we've already had to replace 5 of the ASM RETURN PADDLE drive recently, 4 of which were on the BP-FN11, 1 was on an FN27. 0CWFM1C426001 is the part number, it crosses with the FN27. We're about to sell 50 BP70C55's to one customer with 20ish locations, and all of them will be getting the BPFN11... Shoot me now; I still hate finishers.

So you are telling me that I need to get a BP-FN11 for each tech as a loaner?

They already keep a MX-FN27N in their vehicle.

For some reason I have 0CWFM1C426020 as the sub for 0CWFM1C426001.

It probably does roll up to that, but Sharp doesn't make it easy to know that anymore. Also, that motor unit takes 15-20 minutes to swap out, so not as bad as it sounds; plus you don't even have to remove the finisher from the machine due it being behind the front cover. Thankfully haven't had any issues with the Assist/Processing Tray Unit yet, but it's coming...I just know it...A storm is a brewin'...

The Assist Unit removal and adjustment takes me a little over an hour to do, but it's not a fun time.

Curious what vehicles you're using to have a finisher on top of the rest of the kits.

It sucks, I believe they stopped making the transit connect. I have the Ram promaster city. Not making that anymore either. Those are the perfect vehicle for this job. nothing out there that takes their place.

The Transit Connect is the last one still made for the US market. Made in Turkey. Paid $27K for a new in 2021 and now they are $37K for exact same van. This is the cargo version with nothing inside from the front seats back. The used ones are way to high in price. I need Race Red which is very hard to find in used with low miles, cruise and no rear windows.
